Leopard Cat (Prionailurus Bengalensis)

 In the Sundarbans there are three small cat species, Fishing cat, Jungle cat and Leopard cat, though they are more elusive than the big cat, the Royal Bengal Tigers. Their presence is mainly determined by their frequent foot-print. On the morning of 16 Jan 2017 a rare sighting of a leopard cat (Prionailurus Bengalensis) occurred next to Lawdobe forest office.
